Hi Anna, Elisha, Dan, Felix, Rags, Nicodemus, Marley, Kimberlee, Donal, Emily, Laura, Marshall, Kaleb and Rick.

I’m once again at the local. Today’s adventure was a bit different. I killed my old FB page and profile recently and have created new ones. All of this was brought on by a hacker in Vietnam and facebook not offering proper user support. I had to start fresh to get my socials linked to my site. So, once more unto the breach…

I wanted to write to all of you, before my posts start going public on the socials, to say thanks for being here. Almost all of you are friends/family I know personally and count among my favourite humans.

I’ll keep it short today, so I can get the digital bits in line and go do something else! I spent the day in the studio yesterday getting all the tracks for Stereophile, the new record and accompanying book, together for mastering. Making the final tweaks to the mixes. After a hard go the last two months, things are feeling good again. I’m excited about the record and resigned to the slog of marketing that lies ahead. As Steve Albini says, it really is a scourge and large detractor from the real creative goods. I see my dedication to the marketing being tempered by the urge to create.

Maybe the art will speak for itself.
